On Friday 19th December the final session of 2014 was held at Enfield Down mental health unit. This was the last of seven two hour sessions where residents used all aspects of golf to help them in their rehabilitation.
Those who attended were introduced to golf and using various targets learnt how to chip, pitch and putt. All the sessions were inside but starting in 2015 the group is moving onto the driving range and hopefully will play one or two holes at a local golf course. The sessions held in 2014 were a great success with BIG receiving a grant from Kirklees Community Partnerships allowing the charity to take their services to a wider audience in Kirklees.
