Promoting Pan Disability Golf
The Drive Behind Disability Golf
A Disability is NOT an Inability
British Inclusive Golf (formally British Disabled Golf) was founded in July 2012 and purely a VOLUNTEER RUN organisation. The organisation decided to be self-funding this gives more flexibility to work with disability groups & organisations who wish to take advantage of the BIG program. Our aim is to bring disabled and non-disabled people together on the golf course through a program of taster sessions, organised range games and on-course golf events, enabling better social inclusion, wellbeing and aiding rehabilitation. We also are working closely with golf clubs, youth organisations and other disability groups to get more young people with mental or physical disabilities into golf with the Chairmans New Young People’s project.
