Golf North Show October 2012

The Golf North Show at The Riverside was not as successful as the organisers had hoped with very low attendance each of the 3 days. British Disabled Golf were hoping to use the show to raise much needed funds but in the end they took advanatge of forming some good partnerships with other exhibitors, so the whole weekend was not wasted.

The trustees would like to thank Darren Grey, Mike & Wendy Oxley, John Irvine, Gary Cooper and Mat Mahoney for helping over the weekend especially Mike & Wendy who braved the whole 3 days in the cold concourse of Middlesborough Football Club.

We met some really interesting people like Wheelchair Steve who is working towards making people more aware about what people in wheelchairs can achieve.
