Grip Par Open 2018
Its now time for the Grip Par Open weekend at Mytton Fold Golf & Hotel Near Blackburn in Lancashire – Postcode – BB6 8AB
All hotel bills have been paid (except those booking Friday directly with hotel) so there is nothing else to pay except your BAR BILL, Please don’t forget to pay this on checking out on Sunday morning before golf.
Itinerary for the weekend is as follows:
Friday
For those travelling on Friday please book in after 3 pm, your room has been allocated for both the Friday & Saturday night. Some have booked directly with the hotel and not through me however I have made sure they give you the same room for both days. There is NO EVENING MEAL included with the extra night however after 4 pm you can play golf for FREE (Buggies not included) and food is available in the restaurant & bar.

Saturday
Those arriving on Saturday please arrive by 10 am and check in before the golf which starts at approx. 11 am straight after the MFGC members have gone out. If your room is not ready leave your bags at reception and someone will take them to your room while your playing golf.
We have invited Mytton Fold Members to join us in our event and they will be playing for the POWAGLIDE CUP and its associated divisional prizes – This competition is open to all golfers – The winner will be the best stableford score on the day (any category) and he runner up will be the second best score on the day then we will do the 3 divisional prizes, 0 – 12, 13 – 20, 21 & above.
Raffle Tickets will be sold on the Saturday at £5 a strip – Anyone willing to Donate a prize please bring it along – Thank You.
The raffle draw will be made during golf on Sunday and all prizes will have a WINNING TICKET attached and each player can look see if they have won after golf.
PLEASE REMEMBER we are a REGISTERED CHARITY and rely heavily on events like this to raise much needed funds so we can help & support people who have had live changing experiences and get them back on their way through the power of Golf, as many of us have already done.

After Golf all cards MUST be handed to either Myself or Mathew Shaul where we will liaise with Mytton Fold as to the winner of the POWAGLIDE CUP.
Evening meal will be at 8 pm the room will be identified on the Saturday but we usually meet in the bar around half seven. Dress code for the evening meal is Smart casual(Trousers/ Jeans and shirt) Ladies are always smart. Presentation of the Saturdays trophies will be made after the dinner for those present.

Sunday
Please book out of room after breakfast and pay Bar Bill before 10.30 and be ready for golf at 11 am.
Golf will start at approx. 11 am and presentation of the GRIP PAR OPEN and any prizes not presented on Saturday night will be 30 mins after last group have finished their round. This usually takes places in a room just off the main bar area.
Competition of the day – 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford – Best Score to count (Full Handicap)
