Mid Yorks

Mid Yorkshire saw the best turnout of 2013 with 13 golfers taking part. It was a great days golf at Mid Yorkshire with the course in good condition and the hospitality of the club also making a great day.

The winner of the day was Dave Cooksley with 40pts who won on on count back from John irvine, in 3rd place with 39 pts was Kevin Houlden. Brian Parsons won the nearest the pin competition.

There was an hidden pairs competition this was won with 46points by Kevin Houlden and Jack Holmes. There were 2 special awards for Cerise Booth and Wendy Oxley who both beat their previous points tally by 3 whole points an indication that golf does help people improve especially Wendy who only last year struggled to finish a hole nevermind score 7 stableford points.
