Hart Common

Hart Common saw 14 golfers attend on a beautiful bright sunny day in Wigan, the course was in a beautiful condition making it a superb setting for a days golfing. It was nice to see old and new faces attending. The scores were not the best but then again the course played long and the greens were very tricky. The winner was Ian Halliwell with a score of 38pts resulting in a drop of 1 shot of his BDG handicap, Dave Cooksley played steady golf and ended with 34pt and took second place. Jack Holmes won the 9 hole score with 22 pts and ended with 35pts. The nearest the pin was won by Dave Cooksley who hit a 3 wood in a stiff breeze into the 160yds par 3. BDG would like to thank the staff at Hart Common for a marvellous day.
