Rufford Charity Day

Charity Golf Day at RUFFORD PARK GOLF CLUB was not as well supported as we expected but those that attended had a great day thanks to a FANTASTIC GOLF TRICK SHOW byDEAN DAVIS and an excellent course at Rufford.

BDG would like to thank all of those that attended and the 15 hole sponsors who are listed below that helped to raise £1000 that this money will help us to organise taster sessions throughout the North of England so thank you to everyone.

As for the golf 7 teams took park in a Am-Am format with best 2 scores to count the best 2 teams being

Dean Davis challenged each golfer on hole 7 to nearest the Pin and only 3 players beat him, Barry Stacey from Longley Park, Kevin Houlden from BDG and John Irvine from BDG and Blyth each player won a sleeve of golf balls then a draw was made for a golf bag donated byDIRECT GOLF that was won by Kevin Houlden.

There were 2 nearest the pins on the 7th and 17th won by John Irvine and Ian Halliwell respectively, the longest drive was won by Joseph Vanaman.
