STOCKPORT STROKE ASSOCIATION TASTER DAY

British Disabled Golf and Stockport Stroke Association came together to hold a taster session at Cranford Driving Range, Stockport for stroke survivors. 14 people turned up for the event, some had never played golf before and found the experience very rewarding with every person leaving the event having improved thoughout the 2 hour session.

Golf for the disabled is a personal journey and with help and concentration each individual can improve. Some were sceptical about what they could get out of the day, but once they saw what could be achieved even they found hitting golf balls on the range helped them focus and everyone enjoyed the experience.

Thanks go to Cranford Driving range, the facilities and the staff were excellent and British Disabled Golf will without doubt be organising more events for the Stroke Association in the near future.
